  18. Prepare Chocolate syrup

  23. Prepare Any chocolate to liking

A festive Kinder cake with a decadent mascarpone filling and chocolate candy or Schoko Bons topping. Kinder Chocolate Cake with Mascarpone Filling This Kinder cake with chocolate and mascarpone filling decorated with lots of candy is perfect for any kind of celebration. Rich, decadent, pretty to look at, yet not that difficult to make. To decorate the cake I used small Kinder chocolate bars, a Nutella and Go, original and white chocolate Kinder Buenos and of course, a Kinder egg.

Instructions to make Kinder Chocolate Cake:
  1. Steps 1-7 are for the Chocolate Layer Cake. Step 8 is buttercream and Step 9-10 is assembling
  2. Preheat the oven to 190•C. Melt the dark chocolate. Stir while melting. Cream butter and sugar until smooth
  3. Separate eggs and beat the yolks. Gradually add the egg yolks into the butter sugar mix and beat well.
  4. Add the melted dark chocolate into the mix and combine.
  5. In a separate bowl, add the baking soda, powder, flour and salt. In a jug add the milk and vanilla essence. Add half of the dry ingredients into the batter and mix, followed by half of the wet batter. Incorporate nicely and repeat x2.
  6. Using the egg whites, whisk to get soft peaks and carefully incorporate into mixture, folding it in. Be careful so you don’t lose the air
  7. Divide the mixture into your tins (I used an 8” and 9” tin) and put into the oven for 40 mins or until skewer is clean when poked through.
  8. For the Buttercream - in a stand mixer (or normal is fine) whisk the butter until nice and soft. Spend around 5-6 mins and slowly add icing sugar, don’t add it all in one go. When fully mixed, add nutella, hazelnut and a bit of melted chocolate, mix in nicely. Leave aside
  9. Assembling - once cake is cooled, start with evening the tops of the cake, and apply buttercream to each layer. Use nozzle or palette knife to spread this around all over
  10. For the top, design how uou want and incorporate the chocolate in any style. Once complete, let it set in the fridge and you’re good to go :)

Rich, decadent, pretty to look at, yet not that difficult to make. To decorate the cake I used small Kinder chocolate bars, a Nutella and Go, original and white chocolate Kinder Buenos and of course, a Kinder egg. You can make your cake as simple or complicated as you wish. You might want to pipe buttercream swirls and top each swirl with a piece of Kinder Bueno or cover the entire cake with Kinder chocolate. I would just remove all those edible decorations and would still get a whole load of chocolate. 'Cause the Kinder chocolate cake consists of buttercream refined with vanilla pudding and flavored with cocoa powder and a light chocolatey cake.
