This fermented batter is then poured in concentric circles in hot oil and deep-fried. Then these fried spirals are soaked in sugar syrup for a few minutes and later served.
Steps to make Jalebi:
- Take a bowl add all purpose flour, 1 tsp ghee, eno and mix it
- Now add water and make rahein batter without lumbs
- Take a pan add sugar, water, food colour and cook it and make the sugar syrup
- Take sauce bottle and batter
- Heat the oil and make the jalebi and fry it
- Now dip into the sugar syrup for 2 minutes
- Serve it
This fermented batter is then poured in concentric circles in hot oil and deep-fried. Then these fried spirals are soaked in sugar syrup for a few minutes and later served. Jalebi is one of the most popular desserts from Indian subcontinent. Similar to Gulab jamun, jalebi too makes its appearance during weddings, celebrations & festivals. Jalebi can be made for any festivals like Diwali, Holi & Eid.
