Hey everyone, it is Brad, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, jalebi. One of my favorites. For mine, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Jalebi, also known as Jilapi, zulbia, mushabak and zalabia, is a Middle Eastern sweet snack popular all over South and Western Asia. It is made by deep-frying maida flour (plain flour or all-purpose flour) batter in pretzel or circular shapes, which are then soaked in sugar syrup. This dessert can be served warm or cold. When the sugar has dissolved, add the saffron and bring to the boil.

The ingredients needed to make Jalebi:
  1. Get 4 tbsp maida
  2. Prepare 1/2 tbsp rice flour
  3. Take 1 tbsp curd
  4. Take Pinch soda
  5. Make ready Pinch salt
  6. Get pinch orange colour
  7. Take as required Water
  8. Make ready as required Oil
  9. Take 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  10. Get 1 cup sugar

Instructions to make Jalebi:
  1. Take a bow add maida, rice flour, curd, salt, food colour and mix it. Add water gradually and mix it. The mixture shoud not be very thick or very thin. Rest it for 10 mins.
  2. Take a pan add 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, cardamom powder and boil it. No need to boil till any tar only need to dissolve the sugar and make the chasni little thick. Switch off the stove.
  3. Take a flat pan add some oil for frying. Add pinch of soda to the mixture and pour it to a sauce bottle. When the oil is mild warm just make jalebi on the oil. Heat should be in low - medium. Fry it from both the side. Don't burn it
  4. Take out from oil and put them in warm prepared chasni. Flip it. Keep there for 1-2 min, then take them out.
