- To make fillings: heat oil in a kadahi, add cumin seeds and let it crackle.Add chopped potatoes, cauliflower, carrtot, and beans. Mix well and cook covered for 4-5 minutes on low flame stirring in between. Remove the lid, add peas, ginger, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Cook covered for 3 minutes on medium flame. Remove the lid and stir fry for 2 minutes. Mash a little with the help of spoon and add all dry spices. Mix well adding chopped coriander leaves and chopped chillies.
- Method to make steam balls- Fill the mix veg prepared into rava dough one by one by making the dough and pack it tightly making in ball shape. Boil water in a kadahi and add the stuffed balls into it. Keep an eye over it, as soon as you see the balls start coming up and grows in size (usually take 3-4 minutes) take it out with the help of strainer. - - Let it become warm and serve with green chutney or pickle of your choice.
