  1. Prepare 1 cup chana(gram) dal
  2. Take 3 cup rice
  3. Get 1 cup curd or buttermilk
  4. Take to taste Salt
  5. Take 1 tsp baking soda
  6. Get 1 tsp lemon juice
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp oil
  8. Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder

Turn off the flame and remove the dhokla dish from a steamer. Ragi Rava dhokla, a very simple snack to make and oil free as it is steam cooked. Ragi is a rich source of fiber, calcium, and iron. Instructions to make Steam dhokla:
  1. Take bowl add Chana Dal and rice and wash it tharowly at least 3 -4 time and soaked in water for over night or 5-6 hrs.
  2. Take out access water. Take a mixer grinder jar add soaked Chana Dal and rice add 2-3 tbspn curd or buttermilk and grind it well. Like wise grind whole mixture. If required can add water to have batter consistency like idli batter. Let it ferment by covering it in a warm place for 7-8 hrs.
  3. There will be nice fermentation. Add salt turmeric ginger garlic green chilli paste and mix well. Now oil baking soda on that add few drops of lemon juice and mix well.
  4. On a stove add steamer let water get boil on it. Till the Grease Dhokla mould with oil add batter sprinkle dry red chilli peprica and coriander powder and let it steam for 15-20 min.
  5. After that open the steamer Dhokla is ready you can check it with knife or toothpick. Take it out and after 5 min unmould it. Serve with garlic chutney and green coriander chutney.
