  1. Take a big bowl add flour, cornflour, mix well then add curd, mix it then. Then add water in little amount and make a paste.
  2. Mix in circular for at least 3-4 minutes then add vinegar, food colour and soda bicarb. Mix again and make a smooth paste.
  3. On the other side in a pan add sugar and water to dissolve it and bring it to a boil.
  4. Cook sugar syrup for 7-8 mins add saffron string, Then add lemon juice to avoid syrup crystallization.
  5. Pour ghee on a pan and let it get heated.
  6. Pour flour paste in ketchup bottle and make jalebi. When it turns golden on one side turn it. After it turns golden from both the side take out and dip in warm sugar syrup.
  7. Serve hot crispy jalebi with curd.

Jalebi is not just a dessert, but even part of morning breakfast and evening snacks in several parts of India. For example, in Bihar it is served with Poori and Aloo ki Subzee as breakfast. In the evening, it is served as a snack with samosa and kachori. In Bhopal, it is relished with poha! There is no single recipe for Jalebi.
