Steps to make Jalebi:
  1. Prepare a thick batter by adding rava, maida, curd, and water in a bowl and keep this mixture aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, we will prepare the sugar syrup. To make syrup, add water, sugar and cook until sugar dissolves and prepare a one line kind of thin syrup. Turn off the gas. Now add cardamom powder and mix.
  3. Now, add baking powder to the batter prepared above and mix well. Heat ghee in a pan or flat bottomed kadahi. Fill the batter in a cone or sauce bottle and rotate the hands round to make the jalebi in the pan. When the jalebi comes on top of the ghee, flip over and fry.
  4. When it becomes golden brown from both the sides, pour it in the sugar syrup and keep it pressed for 2 minutes so that the Jalebi absorbs the syrup inside.
  5. Note: I have not used any artificial food colour but you can add a pinch or arange food colour in the syrup to make it look more attractive.
