Instructions to make Jalebi:
  1. Mix the flour baking powder and yogurt.
  2. Into a batter and keep aside for 24 hours to ferment.
  3. Pour batter into a ketchup dispensing bottle.
  4. To make sugar syrup
  5. Melt the sugar with rose water.
  6. And boil to get a one thread consistency.
  7. To check for one thread consistency carefully.
  8. Dip the tip of your index finger
  9. Into the syrup touch your finger and thumb together.
  10. And gently tease apart.
  11. If one thread is formed between your finger and thumb
  12. The syrup is doun.
  13. Turn off the fire add the saffron strands and cardamom and stir well.
  14. Heat the oil in a pan
  15. Deep wok-like dish.
  16. To taste for the right temperature.
  17. Drop a small amount of batter in to the oil.
  18. If it sizzles and rises to the top of the oil is hot enough.
  19. Keep the flame on medium at all times
  20. To ensure all round cooking of the jalebis.
  21. Now hold the ketchup dispenser the hot oil
  22. And squeeze the batter in to the oil
  23. In to a wiggly randomly coiled circle.
  24. Squeeze out several at a time.
  25. Fry till light golden.
  26. And them remove and put directly in to the sugar syrup.
  27. Allow to soak for 2-3 minutes and them remove.
  28. Serve warm.
