- Prepare 1 cup Maida/all- purpose flour
- Make ready 1 teaspoon Baking soda

Steps to make Jalebi:
- Sieve all the maida cornflour and baking soda.
- Now add curd colour and mix well
- Now add water accordindly and make a batter
- It should be in flowing consistency.
- Same as you make idli batter or vada pav batter. - Let it rest for 6_7 hrs.
- Now heat oil in a kadhai. - Put the mixture in a bottle which can be pressed easily.
- Once your oil it heated nicely simmer the flame and pour the mixture spirally giving shape directly in the kadhai. - Deep fry.
- Remove and put them on a paper napkin to remove the excess oil.
- Add jalebi in sugar syrup. Its ready
Jalebi can be made for any festivals like Diwali, Holi & Eid. How is jalebi made Traditionally it is made with a fermented batter of all purpose flour, gram flour (besan), baking soda and water. This fermented batter is then poured in concentric circles in hot oil and deep-fried. Then these fried spirals are soaked in sugar syrup for a few minutes and later served. Jalebi is a sweet that is made throughout India, Pakistan, and the Middle East.
