Instructions to make Friedrice:
  1. Dice your carrots, peas and carrots, get ready your other ingredients.
  2. Wash your rice with salt till its void of starch.

  9. Add in your fried vegetables into the rice, stir until both are entirely mixed
  10. Cover for 2mins after which you turn off the heat.

Add the Chinese oil (or vegetable oil) to a hot wok. When oil just starts to smoke, add the egg and scramble. Sometimes I also stir-fry them in a skillet sprinkling a few splashes of water, so that the rice grains do not dry out. Cook the rice following pack instructions, then drain, spread it out to steam-dry and set aside. Reduce the heat to medium, add the cooked rice, spring onions, peas, if using, scrambled egg and soy.
