  1. Prepare 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. Take 2-3 teaspoon refined oil
  3. Prepare to taste Salt

  7. Get 2 onions (minced)
  8. Prepare 10-15 Garlic cloves (minced)

  11. Make ready 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  12. Take to taste Salt
  13. Get 1/2 teaspoon Soya sauce
  14. Take For the chutneys
  15. Make ready 2 tomatoes boiled
  16. Make ready 1 garlic
  17. Make ready 2 teaspoon Mustard oil
  18. Take to taste Salt
  19. Take Pinch black pepper
  20. Take 1 teaspoon dried red Chillies
  21. Prepare 1 bunch Coriander leaves
  22. Prepare 1 bunch Mint
  23. Get 4-5 green chillies

As I have mentioned above, momos are dumplings made with flour and a savory stuffing. This stuffing can be made with veggies, sea-food, chicken or paneer (cottage cheese). Method of cooking: Momos can be steamed, baked or deep-fried. We prefer steamed momos over the fried ones.

Instructions to make Steamed Veg Momos:
  1. At first mix the flour, salt, refined oil with lukewarm water knead it & make a dough. And keep it aside.
  2. Grate the cabbage,salt, black pepper garlic, soya sauce and mince the onions and cook in 1 teaspoon oil for 5-7mins and cover with a lid in a low flame. After few minutes take off the lid and heat for few minutes. And then keep it aside.
  3. Chutneys - for the red chutney, in mixer grinder put the boiled tomatoes, black pepper, salt, oil, dried red chillies, garlic and grind it. And it's ready. For the Green chutney, in the mixer grinder put the coriander, mint, garlic, green chillies, salt, oil & Grind it. And it's ready.
  4. Now, take the dough from step 1 and make small balls and flatten the balls, put the stuffings inside and Roll the dough thin (translucent) and cut into rounds. - Take a round, wet edges and place some filling in the center. Bring the edges together. Twist to seal and fill the rest in the same way. And put on the momo Equipment and grease the perforated plate with oil before placing the momos. And cover the lid.
  5. For the soup -put water, minced garlic cloves, black pepper powder, salt and coriander leaves minced. And put it on the lower section of the equipment.
  6. Now, steam the momos for 15-20mins in medium flame. And the momos are ready.

Method of cooking: Momos can be steamed, baked or deep-fried. We prefer steamed momos over the fried ones. Arrange the momos on the stand, one in each receptacle. Fill water in the pressure cooker upto an inch from the base. Heat the pressure cooker to bring the water to a boil, then set the heat to low.
